Culpeper Farmer's Market

For the 2nd season, the Culpeper Garden Club has participated in the Culpeper Downtown Farmer's Market.  Club members generously donate plants and divisions from their gardens in exchange for financial donations to their scholarship fund.  The scholarships are awarded to outstanding Culpeper County high school graduates that choose to continue their education in horticulture or agricultural sciences at community college, colleges or universities.

Club members are on site from the crack of dawn until the closing bell at Noon, every other Saturday April through October.  The stall continues to attract new and seasoned gardeners and they have developed a regular following.  In addition to acquiring locally grown cut flowers, perennials and shrubs raised by club gardeners, patrons leave with planting advice from the very knowledgeable club members.
