Seven members of the Culpeper Garden Club attended the Shenandoah District's Spring Meeting at Massanetta Springs, in Rockingham County. After a brief business session, awards were given to district garden club's for their numerous achievements during 2023. The outstanding afternoon program, "Why Native Plants?", was presented by Keala Timko, volunteer coordinator of the Central Shenandoah Valley Master Gardener Association.
The Culpeper Garden Club took advantage of the offer to have a vendor table, where they displayed an assortment of items, plants and baked goods donated from their membership. The jumble tables were a huge success, helping the club meet their 2024 financial goals.
